Mary J. Blige Expresses Disappointment Over Oscar Snub

The Queen of Hip Hop Soul is saddened by the Academy's decision.

Though Mary J. Blige has garnered numerous awards and accolades for her music, she will not be adding an Oscar to her collection in 2012.

Mary J. Blige, along with Madonna and Elton John were among those expected to get a nomination for Best Original Song, but failed to land nominations.

The category normally has four or five nominations, but this year featured only two: "Man or Muppet" from The Muppets and "Real in Rio" from Rio.

Birdman's been known to drop vast sums of money on bets, and for this year's Super Bowl, it looks like the Cash Money rapper is reaching deep into his bank account.MTV reports that Baby is betting $5 million on the New England Patriots to win Super Bowl XLVI.

The Cash Money impresario and former Big Tymer Tweeted yesterday that he's putting $5 million on the line that the New England Patriots will defeat the New York Giants this February 5. He explained that he's putting his faith in the AFC Champs because his nephew is running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

chelsea Handler Confirms Past Relationship With 50 Cent During Howard Stern Interview

Chelsea Handler reveals that she was in a relationship with 50 Cent for several months, speaks on 50 Cent and Ciara.

Months ago after being pictured in a photograph together rumors began to spread in regards to the relationship between rapper 50 Cent and television host Chelsea Handler. Rumors of the two entertainers being in a relationship were never confirmed nor denied, but now it looks like Handler has finally confirmed that there was in fact a relationship.

According to MTV News, the host of Chelsea Latelyappeared on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show this week and spoke briefly on the relationship revealing that the two dated for a few months.

Handler went on to explain that her relationship with 50 Cent eventually came to an end when he revealed that R&B singer Ciara was still interested in him.

“You’re telling me this girl wants to get back with you but she’s upset that you’re dating me,” Handler questioned. “Is that what you’re saying…Whatever I called him was probably the worst thing you could say to a black person, short of calling him the N-word. Like I said…you’re a street person basically something along the lines of being a gangster. And it was really, really offensive and I hung up and I’ve never spoken to him again.”

ublicist Claims Amber Rose Plotted To Steal From Kanye; Planning Doc

(AllHipHop News) A former publicist for Amber Rose is planning to expose the model in an upcoming documentary titled “The Michael Jordan of Models: This Is Janero.”

Publicist Janero Marchand is head of the Marchand Media Group, which at one point counted Amber Rose as a client.

Janero Marchand unleashed a tirade of accusations against Amber Rose on his Twitter account today (January 23).

Marchand claimed that Amber Rose stole his 20% commission he was supposed to earn, for arranging her appearance in the “Robocop” video.

“Set the record straight. Yes, introduced Amber Rose to Kanye West for the ‘Robocop’ video. She stole my 20% of her $100,000 for the video,” Marchand tweeted today.

He also accused Amber Rose of plotting to steal from Kanye West, which was one of the reasons the celebrity couple’s split.

“Amber & her brother Antonio were going to Hawaii plotting & stealing money from Kanye,” Marchand alleged. “I didn’t want anything to do with it so YES I told Ye.”

According to Janero Marchand, he is planning to reveal the details behind the break up, along with more about Amber Rose, in his documentary “The Michael Jordan of Models: This Is Janero,” which drops in February 2012.

Marchand also claimed that one of the reasons for exposing Amber Rose was because of her recent allegations against Kanye West in the media, that included accusations that Kanye cheated on her with Kim Kardashian.

He also issued an ominous warning to Amber Rose, in anticipation of her reply.

“If she tries to refute what I say I have emails to back up everything,” Marchand tweeted. “Kanye is a good person & it’s not right what Amber is doing to him.”
