Michelle Keegan Tweets photo of flowers from Max George 14/02/11
There’s always one isn’t there? And by that we mean there’s always somebody out there that makes the rest of us feel rubbish about our lot and yesterday that somebody was Michelle Keegan.
If you received a card and a bunch of flowers – we didn’t and we don’t care, it’s stupid day anyway – you were probably feeling a little bit smug.
Go on admit it, we won’t judge and anyway we’re about to wipe that smug smirk off your face, because we very much doubt the bunch of flowers you received were patch on the whopping great humongous bouquet Michelle got from her fiancé, Max George.
Christ on a bike, look at the size of them!! Is she tiny or are they just huge? They’re huge, right?
And just in case showing her 344k followers wasn’t enough she also felt the need to Tweet:
“Thankyou to my gorgeous boyfriend @MaxTheWanted for the most amazing Valentines Day present ever! I'm speechless... X” (sic)
Oh bore
Despite her beauty, her fame, her wealth (plus her all-round niceness) we actually feel a bit sorry for Jennifer Aniston. Over the years the actress has had to bear the brunt of so much speculation about her ovaries that it must be pretty depressing for her, and also very tedious.
Every time the woman finds a new long term boyfriend, which given her fame must be a challenge in the first place, the press immediately start suggesting that she’s pregnant.
Having recently found herself at the centre of yet more reports along those lines, Jennifer Aniston has once again had to deny she’s up the duff.
Posing in just her bra and skirt in March’s GQ magazine, the actress (who was probably rolling her eyes as she spoke) said:
'I think people maybe want me to have a kid now. I still kind of go with, if it happens, it happens.
'I'm calm and peaceful with whatever the plan is. It's not something where I'm going, "I gotta have a kid!"
'I'm drawing the line on the children conversation. I'm not having triplets. Not having twins. Nor am I having one baby. I did not elope… You heard it here. I’m not knocked up now.'
Given the firmness of her tummy, that’s hardly a big shock is it.
Jen also told the publication (who she was doing an interview with for her movie Wonderlust, which she stars in with Paul Rudd) that being in her forties has given her a new found confidence.
'Forty’s great! Oh, my God, my thirties blew! Forties are great.'
Yup, keep saying it and we might actually start believing you.
You can read her full interview in the March issue of US GQ magazine.
On Sunday morning, when news broke of Whitney Houston’s tragic and untimely death, a few eagle-eyed iTunes shoppers noticed her album suddenly went up in price.
‘Whitney – The Greatest Hits’ was initially on sale for £4.99, but the price shot up to £7.99 in the wake of her death.
Understandably many fans were disgusted by the price hike and branded iTunes ‘shameful’ and ‘greedy,’ but it turns out it had nothing to do with Apple and it was in fact down to an error by Sony Music.
Whitney’s record label claim her album was incorrectly priced to start with and have since apologised for their mistake.
The statement reads:
“Whitney Houston product was mistakenly mispriced on the U.K. iTunes store on Sunday. When discovered, the mistake was immediately corrected. We apologize for any offense caused.”
Hmmmm...
