Whitney Houston Family Funeral

Whitney Houston's funeral 18/02/2012
On a day that was supposed to be all about Whitney, the singer’s ex-husband Bobby Brown ended up making her funeral very much about him when he stormed out of the church where her service was taking place because his large entourage couldn't all be seated.
Bobby had initially been told he could bring only two guests to the ceremony but he arrived with nine and there weren't enough seating to accommodate them all. He was said to have refused to sit in the front row with his daughter Bobbi Kristina and instead he dramatically ended up walking out of the church. Later he released this statement about the turn of events:
‘My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston.  We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions.
'I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene.
'My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. I doubt Whitney would have wanted this to occur. I will continue to pay my respects to my ex-wife the best way I know how.'
After being driven away from the funeral, Bobby then had a change of heart and went back just in time for the home-going service. He also paid tribute to his ex-wife onstage when he performed at a gig with his band just hours after the funeral. He told the crowd:
'I want to give blessings to my ex-wife, Whitney Houston, I love you. I want to give blessings to my kids, my fiancée my brothers, and each of you
