It was only going to be a matter of time before Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, opened up about the tragic death of her mother. And who better to speak to than chat show queen Oprah Winfrey?
A trailer, aired on US TV, which is currently unavailable in the UK, shows Oprah chatting to the 19-year-old, as well as Whitney’s brother Gary and her sister-in-law and manager Patricia.
Apparently Oprah is a close family friend, which we suppose makes her the ideal person to discuss this still raw topic with them. Whitney died on February 11 at the age of 48 in her room at the Beverly Hills Hilton. It has been reported that some family members are calling for a murder investigation to be launched.
In the trailer, which we have to say is slightly OTT with one of those movie voice overs, we see her asking Patricia: "Does it feel real yet, that she died?"
She then turns to Gary and says: "As a big brother, how did you feel about Bobby Brown?"
Whitney and Bobby Brown famously had a very tumultuous relationship, during which Whitney’s struggle with drugs began. Oprah knows the situation very well, as it was on her show that Whitney first spoke about her addiction and her marriage.
You may be wondering why Bobbi Kristina has felt the need to speak so publically and so soon about her mother’s death. She has been reported as saying she chose Oprah because she was “loyal to my mum, and never did my mother wrong, or made her look bad. She always looked out for my mum.”

"The inference is that he’s abandoned me and it’s not like that at all.
"The decision for him to go to LA was a joint one and I knew how long for.”

The mother of Justin Bieber, Pattie Mallette, has just signed a book deal (she’s got a great name so that’s already a good start to it) all about her life before and after giving birth to her famous offspring.
Apparently it’s going to be called Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber's Mom and will document the trauma, abuse and addiction she suffered as a child and in her early adult years which subsequently led to a suicide attempt when she was 17. Speaking about the book Pattie said:
"I want them to see that no matter how desperate their circumstances may be, they can have hope for a better future."
Because presumably there’s potential for all of us to spawn the next tween superstar who can earn us millions…

Whitney Houston’s will has been released, and it has been revealed that the late singer has left everything in her possession to her daughter Bobbi Kristina.
All of her money, as well as her personal effects, has been willed to the 18-year-old.
According to a court document, which was obtained by Inside Edition, the superstar, who died on February 11 aged 48, first set up the will in 1993.

However she then amended it in 2000, while she was still; married to former husband Bobby Brown.
But the R&B singer will not receive anything, although he is mentioned in the document itself.
Allegedly, money left by Whitney to Bobbi Kristina will be put into a trust which Bobbi Kristina will be given access to when she turns 21.
At that time, in 2014, she will receive a portion of the inheritance, before being given another chunk at the age of 25.
Bobbi Kristina will receive the rest of her inheritance in a final instalment on her 30th birthday.
According to BANG Showbiz, Whitney’s mother Patricia “Cissy” Houston is the executor of the will and her brother and sister-in-law are trustees.
