What a lovely couple! Kim Kardashian happily poses with her 'very good friend'  Kanye West after his Paris fashion show

They are said to be 'just good friends,' despite romantic rumours to the contrary.

But Kim Kardashian and Kanye West certainly made for a very cosy couple as they posed together after his Paris fashion show earlier tonight.

Kanye looked straight at the camera and put his arm around Kim's waist, while the reality show star smiled broadly.

After a rare faux pas on the grooming front, Kim K was back to her polished best to attend the Paris Fashion Week show of her very, very good friend.

Earlier she had flashed a bald spot underneath her ebony mane as she arrived in the French capital, so it was important for the 31-year-old put her best foot forward tonight... and she did just that, in a pair of opulent $6000 shoes.

But she was never going to put on any lesser show for the rapper, who is by her own admission a dear friend and by many others, including his ex-partner Amber Rose, a long-term love interest.

Before the event, Kim tweeted a picture of herself wearing a pair of Kanye West for Guiseppe Zanotti heels, which are made of calf leather and embroidered pearls and cost around $6,000.
'I j'adore my shoes tonight!' she wrote on the social networking site.

Sitting pretty: Kim was back to her glorious best for Kanye's show but according to some models working it, her shoes by the rapper's line were only fit for sitting in 

She arrived at the show wearing the shoes with an a pair of beige trousers, a white top and a fur shawl.
Before her arrival in the French capital, Kim also tweeted her excitement over her Parisian trip.
'Off to Paris... #FashionWeek,' she wrote. 'So excited to see my friends in Paris! Hiiiii @nico4music & Michael! Xoxo'
Later she wrote 'go carting in Paris!!! Doesn't get much better than this!!!!'
So we can only assume she took the elaborate shoes off, as according to models who wore them - they are hard enough to walk in, much less drive a go kart.

British model Jourdan Dunn tweeted: 'The shoes are crazy high! So my legs look crazy right now!” Followed by 'Don’t get me wrong the shoes are sexy as f*** but you can’t walk in them!'

Another catwalk walker, Leomie Anderson added: 'omg the model who fit for his clothes said the shoes were so bad and he was cussin her.'

But ever the pro, Kim had nothing but praise for Kanye's shoes.

She has always claimed the rapper is a wholly platonic friend.

Her claims that there is nothing between her and Kanye West were blown out of the water earlier this year when the College Dropout star's ex-girlfriend said his affair with the reality TV star led to their split.

And the model also claimed that Kim was seeing NFL star Reggie Bush at the same time as she was seeing Kanye - who was in a serious relationship with Amber at the time.

In an interview with Star magazine, Amber, 28, said Kim was one of the main reasons she and Kanye, 34, broke up.
She said: 'She's a homewrecker! They were both cheating. They were both cheating on me and Reggie with each other.'
And she said that Kim instigated the affair by sending sexy pictures of herself to him as well as calling and texting him.

Amber added: 'She was sending pictures, and I was like, "Kim, just stop. Don’t be that person".'

'She's a homewrecker!' Amber Rose said Kim was cheating on her boyfriend Reggie Bush with Kanye while he was with her.

She said she also emailed the socialite asking her for an explanation but was disappointed not to get a reply.

She said: 'I thought at least she’d be woman enough to respond to me.  She never responded.
'It’s very important that us women stick together and we don’t f**k each other over like that.'

But Amber does thank Kim for helping her find true love in the arms of rapper Wiz Khalifa, 24.

She explained: 'I want to thank her. Because if she was never a homewrecker, then I never would have met Wiz, and I wouldn’t be as happy as I am now.'

Amber's claim came a few weeks after Kim and Kayne were spotted together at a party in New York and Kayne was 'all over' the businesswoman - just a month after she filed from divorce from husband Kris Humphries.

And in November, she hinted that the pair may have at one time been more than friends when asked on the Wendy Williams Show if Kim and Kanye.

'I mean, Come on, like, you know,' she laughed. 'Come on! We'll keep it cute.'

A source told The New York Daily News: 'Kanye was eating Kim up like she was a piece of cake. He was all over her - caressing her head, touching her waist.

'I think he was dying to kiss her, but there were too many people in the room.'

The pair, who are long time friends, were attending billionaire Ron Burkle's party for Kanye and rapper Jay-Z who performed tracks from their hit album at LA's Staples Centre.

Last year, Kanye made an appearance alongside a flirty Kim on the first season of reality show Kourtney & Kim Take New York.

And earlier this year, they filmed a Star Wars inspired skit together for U.S. network Comedy Central.

However, a source told People last year that Kim and Kanye are 'just friends.'

'There is nothing going on romantically,' the insider said. 'Kanye and Kim are just friends and have been forever.'
