Khan targets Bradley as Pac-Man is beaten
ROUGH LANDING ... Manny Pacquiao catches Timoth Bradley with a right

AMIR KHAN vowed to make it third time lucky after Manny Pacquiao dropped his WBO welterweight title to Timothy Bradle
Khan watched in disbelief from ringside as good friend Pacquiao was beaten for the first time in seven years.
The controversial split decision was met with a chorus of boos from the crowd at the MGM in Las Vegas and left Pac-Man’s camp calling for an immediate rematch.
But Khan, who intends to step up to welterweight after facing Danny Garcia on July 14, has thrown his hat into the ring after twice seeing a fight with Bradley fall through.
He said: “We've offered the fight to Bradley twice before and he's turned us down twice.
"He did mention this week he wants to fight me and I'm ready to get this fight on.
“This is only going to make me train harder because once you let things go to the judges you can lose fights.
"This is the third time I'm offering the fight to him so let's see what happens."
One judge scored the fight 115-113 in Pacquiao’s favour, while the other two gave Bradley the nod by the same margin.
The Filipino maintained his dignity after the bout but was clearly left with a sour taste in his mouth.
He said: “I didn’t listen to the announcement because I thought I had won [verdicts from] all the judges.
“I respect the decision but 100 percent I believe I won the fight.
"I don’t even remember if he hurt me one punch. He got me with a couple of jabs but I don’t remember if he hit me a solid punch in my face.
“I give Bradley credit, maybe three rounds for him because in some rounds I relax.
"Aside from three rounds, every round I hurt him.
“I did my best but I guess my best wasn't good enough.
"He never hurt me with his punches, most of them landed on my arms.”
As you would expect, Bradley saw things differently.
The American, who remains undefeated, said: “I thought I won.
"I didn't think he was as good as everyone says he was. I didn't feel his power."
While Pacquiao has been promised a rematch by promoter Bob Arum, the defeat has dented his chances of a money-spinning fight with Floyd Mayweather.

Sprint champ Usain Bolt crashes car just weeks before Olympics

USAIN Bolt escaped serious injury today despite smashing his car after driving home from a pa
The Olympic 100metre champion and world record-holder managed to avoid any injuries after crashing his BMW at 5.15am today at a place called Halfway Tree near his home in Kingston, Jamaica.
Ironically one of the first on the scene was Asafa Powell, the former 100m world record-holder and his rival for Olympic gold at London 2012.
Powell had been at the party too but was in another car.
Bolt reportedly suffered no injuries and went home to rest.
Three years ago, Bolt suffered minor injuries in a similar crash on the outskirts of the Jamaican capital.
He injured his left foot on thorns as he stepped out of the car and was treated at a nearby hospital.
After missing a few weeks of training he went on to win the 100m and 200m titles at that summer’s World Championships - and smash his own world records.
But the latest accident will raise questions as to what Bolt was doing out so late with the Jamaican trials for the Olympics less than two weeks away.
