 50 Cent rushed to hospital after his SUV is rammed by a Mack truck

Rapper 50 Cent was involved in a serious car accident in New York City in the early hours of this morning.

The Candy Shop hitmaker was taken to Queens hospital after a collision between his SUV - which was being driven by someone else - and a Mack truck on the Long Island Expressway.

According to fan site ThisIs50.com, the incident occurred when a red truck rear-ended his bullet proof vehicle and it 'almost flipped over'. 

50 Cent - real name is Curtis Jackson - and was put on a stretcher and taken to the nearby medical facility, along with his driver.

A representative for 50 Cent says the rapper has now been released from the hospital after being treated for 'minor neck and back injuries'.

Kris Humphries denies giving details about Kim Kardashian to 'ex-girlfriend' Myla Sinanaj as divorce deposition gets underway

The mudslinging has continued in Kim Kardashian's divorce to basketball star Kris Humphries.

The athlete was grilled by Kim's legal team for his deposition on Monday as he pursues claims she defrauded him for publicity.

He is said to have denied allegations he confided in rumoured lover Myla Sinanaj following the breakdown of the former couple's marriage after only 72 days.

TMZ.com reports Kim's lawyer, Laura Wasser, flew with her team to Kris' native Minneapolis to question him ahead of their divorce trial.

The 27-year-old athlete is reportedly seeking millions of dollars from his ex amid claims their marriage was a hoax on Kim's part motivated by TV ratings.

 

Kim, 31, famously filed for divorce from Kris after just 72 days last October following a whirlwind romance that was captured on reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

The pair has since traded thinly-veiled barbs in the media.

Rihanna shouted to the crowd: "This is history in the making."
