Lady Gaga enjoys SMOKING ,,

Lady Gaga has been open about her cannabis use, claiming she smokes the illegal herb when she's songwriting.

So there's a chance the singer could have been smoking the drug as she left dinner in Los Angeles last night.

The New Yorker lit up a gold pipe in the back of her car as she headed home from a meal at Mr Chow's in Beverly Hills last night.

Having jetted in from Australia the previous day, perhaps the 26-year-old was smoking to alleviate her jetlag.

The Born This Way star was wearing an eye-catching get-up consisting of a strapped, cutaway dress (of sorts), exposing her underwear.

She completed the look with towering platforms and a bejewelled black jacket.

And for dessert: Like many smokers, Gaga was eager to light up after a meal

Gaga was wearing her favourite super-high platform heel lace-up patent black boots earlier in the day too during a Starbuck outing in LA.

In an interview on U.S. TV show 60 Minutes last year, she said: 'I smoke a lot of pot when I write music. I'm not gonna sugarcoat it for 60 Minutes

'What artists do wrong is they lie, and I don't lie. I'm not a liar.'

Gaga has recently announced the launch of her own social network.

A 'monster code' encourages tolerance on the site, which resembles a cross between Facebook and Pinterest.

Ever busy, Gaga only yesterday arrived back in LA from the Australian leg of her Born This Way tour.
