So Nicki Minaj didn’t bother to cover up after singing her latest single Starships on the Today show,.
Instead she left little to the imagination in her risqué outfit as she took a leisurely stroll on her way back to her New York hotel.

The 29-year-old showed off her curves in a pair of tiny hotpants embellished with studs, which she teamed with a black fishnet top over her bra and a bondage harness worn as a necklace.
The star topped off the racy look with patent black boots reminiscent of Wellingtons, and a black jacket with leopard print cuffs.
Never one to shy away from a splash of colour, Nicki donned lashings of magenta lipstick and carried a powder pink handbag.

The duo then arrived at Nicki’s Big Apple hotel where a throng of fans eagerly awaited her.
The star posed for photos with her admirers and signed some autographs before making her way inside.

Her revealing outfit may have been just a normal wardrobe choice for Nicki but Matt Lauer couldn’t resist commenting on the ensemble during Nicki’s Today show appearance.
He said: ‘I'm looking at your outfit and, I'm sorry, it's hard not to look at your outfit. How do you decide how to costume yourself on a daily basis?’
Nicki replied: ‘It's always very impromptu, I hate planning stuff. I don't know. Actually yesterday I told my stylist, I was like, “You know what? I've been doing so much colour recently - just get me black. Put my dancers in black, put me in black, black black black everything.”
