Mourinho: We are not looking to break records, we are looking to win the league
The 49-year-old says that Los Blancos are just concentrating on winning another Spanish championship ahead of Sunday's opening showdown
The Portuguese maintained that whilst the pressure surrounding the club remains at an intense level, they will be hoping they can emulate the achievements of last season.
"[There is] neither more or less pressure. We are not looking to break records, but to win the league. We are the same," Mourinho was quoted as saying by AS.
"We will try to maintain the quality of play, team spirit and ambition."
However, the coach remained coy about any new signings, insisting that a possible transfer shouldn't be ruled out, instead preferring to focus on Sunday's opponents.
He continued: "The market is open until the end of the month. It is very possible that someone will leave, and someone will come in. Today [it] is not that important."
