Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo made the shock claim that he was unhappy with the club after he refused to celebrate his 149th and 150th Los Blancos goals in the win overGranada on Sunday.

The Portuguese was the catalyst behind his side's first win of the new La Liga season but his lack of elation on the back of two landmark strikes was the main talking point after the game, a storyline he expounded on after full time.

"I'm sad because of a professional issue and the club know why. That's why I didn't celebrate the goals, because I'm not happy. The people [at the club] know why." he told reporters after the match.

"It's nothing to do with Iniesta [winning European player award]. I won't talk about this any more and I will concentrate on Portugal for now. There are more important things [than this]."

"The people at the club know about this. I can't say any more."

Chelsea midfielder Raul Meireles has left the club to join Turkish oufit Fenerbahce, the club has confirmed.

A fee has not been revealed but reports say the deal could be worth around 8 million pounds, with Meireles signing a four-year deal at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.

The Portugal international only made the move to Stamford Bridge from Liverpool before the transfer window closed last summer for a fee of 12 million pound.

Meireles made 42 appearances for The Blues last season and had been involved in every game at the start of this campaign, but was only used as a second half substitute in all three matches.

He has now opted to join fellow former Liverpool teammate Dirk Kuyt at the Turkish Super League club after failing to establish a regular place in central midfield ahead of preferred partnership John Obi Mikel and Frank Lampard.

Meireles was widely believed to have been unhappy after the club sacked Andre Villas-Boas, the man who brought him to London.
