Nicki Minaj fears M CARREY
Nicki Minaj has admitted she's concerned her fans won't like her on American Idol.
The Moment For Life singer - who is set to make her debut as a judge on the new season of the reality TV series when it hits screens early next year on January 16 - is worried she will come across as an unpleasant person on the show and won't even be able to watch herself.
Tough critic: Nicki Minaj, pictured on the set of BET's 106 & Park Studio in New York on Monday, has admitted she's worried about how fans will react to her on America Idol
She told Ryan Seacrest's radio show on Monday: 'I'm scared. Maybe I shouldn't have been so like... It's hard for me to not say how I really feel.
'Everyone else is so nice. I was just thinking back about some things and I was like, "I wonder if that was not so nice."
'I don't think I'm going to be able to watch it. I'm going to be so nervous. But I know people are going to love it. I think it's a great dynamic.'
The 29-yer-old singer admitted she thinks that brutal honesty is the best policy when it comes to the contestants on the show.
