She can't be tamed! Rihanna flaunts her tummy in a bandeau top and visits a tattoo shop before taking her mother out to lunch

She is known for her risque behaviour and rebellious antics.

And it appears that even on Mother's Day Rihanna still couldn't be tamed. 

The 24-year-old singer took her mother Monica Braithwaite out to lunch in Manhattan today wearing a bandeau bikini top.

The skimpy black band flaunted plenty of the Bajan star's midriff.

While the top was on the wild side, the You Da One singer managed to tone it down a touch by pairing the attire with a more conservative pair of billowing black trousers and a flowing white jacket.

She rounded out the monochrome outfit with a pair of strappy heels.

The singer, who already has an array of inkings adorning her body, couldn't help but stop into a tattoo parlour on the way to her family meal.

However, she did manage to make a more conventional trip on her travels, picking up some pretty pink flowers for her mother along the way.

Throughout the evening Rihanna tweeted several pictures, including a snap of her mother tucking into a cake and of the pair cuddling up. 

'Who else cudda make all dis lol,' she wrote in an accompanying caption.

The singer was also quick to point out that she was a mother too, tweeting a picture of her pet pooch with the words: 'I had mothers day too.'

Rihanna and her mother are extremely close, and Monica often accompanies her daughter to big red-carpet events.

She was recently by her daughter's side when she was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world at the Time 100 Gala in April.

Seemingly sharing the same cheeky characteristics as her daughter, she chose to discuss her daughter's headline-making alleged fling with Ashton Kutcher with the crowd.

A cringing Rihanna told fans of her embarrassment by tweeting about the goings-on at the party: 'Well....2nt consisted of us singing Bob Marley, drinkin Vintage Scotch, and my mom thinkin a joke abt Kutcher was appropriate! #Thxtime100' (sic).

Her daughter being named as in company with some of the world's finest, including Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the Duchess of Cambridge, didn't stop Monica from poking fun at her bedroom business.

However in the weeks that followed Rihanna subsequently denied the romance insisting that she was single.

Meanwhile, the superstar is looking well after a recent health scare, which saw her being taken to hospital and put on a drip.

Attending the premiere of her movie Battleship in Los Angeles earlier this week, Rihanna looked stunning and healthy in a revealing white dress which she co-created.

She told the crowd that she was feeling a lot better and revealed that she had been suffering from the flu.

'I'm a lot better now...I had a couple days to rest and re-hydrated', Rihanna told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush.

If the star has anything to learn at all, it's how not to burn the candle at both ends.

She has reportedly been overworking herself as well as partying much too hard, even going so far as to miss a key rehearsal for her recent appearance on Saturday Night Live.

so it is becoming increasingly difficult for Kim Kardashian to push the boundaries when it comes to finding new ways to show off her curves.

But the 31-year-old reality star certainly managed it yesterday as she donned a corseted dress which highlighted her incredible curves on the set of a shoot in Los Angeles.

And there was no chance of anyone being distracted by the short brunette wig Kim was sporting for the shoot for Vogue Italia magazine.

As Kim's incredible hourglass figure was distraction enough, particularly for her new boyfriend Kanye West, who joined her on the LA set of the shoot.

However, it seems that perhaps the sample sizes of the dresses were not used to curves like Kim's, as at one point the reality star found that her ample cleavage popped out of the tight leather dress she was sporting.

As well as the figure-hugging leather dress, Kim also showcased her curves in a stunning feathered gown, as well as donning a bizarre warrior-style outfit of leather trousers and a kimono-style top with boots for another segment of the shoot.

Earlier in the day, Kim looked the spitting image of her mother Kris Jenner, 56, as she got to work on the shoot.

She seemed to be paying tribute to her parent on the American Mother’s Day, donning the short wig and baring an uncanny resemblance to the matriarch.

After spending the morning with Kris, Kim tweeted: ‘Happy Mothers Day!!! Had an amazing breakfast with the family...now off to a special shoot today!’

Kim had onlookers talking when she slipped on skin-tight leather dress to a very casual basketball date with her boyfriend Kanye West yesterday.

But perhaps there was a reason behind her inconvenient choice of clothing as she watched the LA Lakers play the Denver Nuggets.

The raven-haired beauty was spotted in an extremely similar fitted frock on the shoot today, so maybe she was simply practicing for a day in the animal skin.

Kim was joined on the job in Los Angeles’ Chinatown by her boyfriend Kanye, who patiently sat in a chair as aides fussed over her behind giant black screens.

Kardashian looked like she’d be spending plenty of time switching into different ensembles with an array of clothing displayed on the clothing rails.

Although an inspiration board showed black and white images of androgynous models and old time paparazzi shots, she seemed to be channelling her manager mother Jenner even more so when she switched into a leather jacket and shorts.

She teamed the look with huge sunglasses and knee-high boots which she wore over fishnet tights.
